WELCOME BACK!

The Dance Expressions faculty recommends class placement that best suits the needs of each child individually.  We cannot place students simply with their friends or by carpools. Just as children learn to walk speak or ride a bike at different rates the same is also true with dance skills. Placement is not a reflection of your child's intelligence, our goal is to foster and pass on a love of dance and we want their experience in class to be a positive one rather than one of frustration.

Class placement is determined by acquired skills, group dynamic, maturity level, and teacher recommendation.  This means that there might be multiple years spent in one level before promotion to another. (We only have 6 levels) Rest assured that students will not be repeating the "same class" as last year. Each class changes to suit the needs of its dancers.  Our teachers want all students dancing at their full potential and will promote students, as necessary throughout the year.

For new students, we will place children according to age and move them as needed once they have been evaluated by their teacher.
